PRIVACY POLICY

Salvik lets you organize household and family plans, emergency contacts, medical and accessibility notes, pet details, supplies, property inventories, receipts, photographs, documents, saved locations, route notes, preparedness goals, checklist progress, and AI planning prompts. You choose what to enter.

Salvik does not require an account and does not operate an advertising, analytics, or user-profile database.

Your preparedness records are stored locally on your device. SparkCrest Digital does not receive or maintain a readable copy of those records. You may create a password-encrypted portable backup and choose where to save or share it. Your backup password is not stored with the file and cannot be recovered by SparkCrest Digital.

Camera and photo-library access are requested only when you choose to capture or attach an image. Location access supports saved coordinates and location-based planning; Salvik does not use it to track you. Face ID or your device passcode may protect sensitive areas. Apple handles biometric authentication, and Salvik receives only the authentication result.

On supported devices, Apple’s on-device Foundation Models are Salvik’s default AI option. You may optionally connect your own OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, or Google Gemini developer API key.

When you select a cloud provider and submit a request, the prompt and details you choose are sent directly to that provider and are governed by its terms and privacy practices. Provider keys are kept in the device Keychain and excluded from Salvik backups and exports. SparkCrest Digital does not receive your key or cloud-AI prompt.

Salvik uses Apple system services such as StoreKit, MapKit, Photos, Local Authentication, and, where available, on-device Foundation Models. Apple may process information under Apple’s own privacy policy. Purchases are handled by Apple; SparkCrest Digital does not receive your payment-card details.

Map tiles and live navigation require Apple Maps availability or a region downloaded separately in Apple Maps.

You control when records or exports leave Salvik. After you share information, the receiving person, app, or service governs it. You can edit or delete records in the app, decline optional permissions, avoid AI features, and remove the app and its local data through iOS or iPadOS.

Salvik is intended for household preparedness use by adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Salvik uses Apple data protection, Keychain storage for provider credentials, optional Face ID or passcode protection, and authenticated encryption for portable backups. No storage or security method can guarantee absolute protection. Keep devices, exported files, and backup passwords secure.

We may update this policy when Salvik’s features or practices change. The effective date identifies the current version.
